I'm in same poss. Had an nokia 8210 for years installed with a thb (http://www.thb.de/) kit. Looking to upgrade with the big factor being able to see SMS that come in.

Nokia 610/810 will show SMS (some models).

Parrot (http://www.driveblue.com/) only do voice but more models.

THB do a composite type situation (http://www.ptp.net.au/) but also backward compatible.

I was hoping someone had done the hard work and found a kit that would use the premium sound display (which I have). I though that if blaupunkt have the Antares range that can do GSM stuff they would come up with something so those with a mobile could use it.

Thanks guys, great advice here. I think I'll definitely go with the SonyEricsson HCB30 kit, but I may get someone else to install it. :) I'm not that confident taking my car apart.

From personal experience I KNOW that the Nokia Bluetooth kits will NOT work with Sony Ericsson Phones.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah, Nokia Bluetooth has issues working with other brands, but generally most of the other brands will work together. As popular as Nokia's are (were..), they are really good at screwing consumers who buy their carkits.
