Hello,

On NZs trade me site tonight I saw a fibre glass bulge for sale that gives the same appearance as an XR8. (Its not the whole bonnet, just the bulge)

Looks good and is made by a professional by the looks.

Has anyone seen one or own one?

Also would it be a difficult job attatching it to the existing bonnet?

I like that Idea instead of buying a new bonnet.

Cheers :spoton:

Unfortunately, you can't beat the real thing.

By the time you attach that thing to a bonnet, however you do it, and smooth over the join to make it "factory looking", and respray the bonnet, the cost of a new XR8 bonnet wouldn't be too far away..... and they are all metal. No fibreglass to crack later on down the track.
