Guest pinmj001 Guests Posted 23/01/05 02:43 AM Share Posted 23/01/05 02:43 AM Hi Guys,Punks decided to rip off my fuel from my XR8 ute last night (as well as my brothers Expensive Daewoo ute). Whats the deal with no locking on the fuel caps on utes??Just wondering if anyone had any tips for securing the fuel cap or flap - Any sort of after market parts available (like lockable caps etc)? One option I thought of was heading down to my crash repairing and seeing if he can fit a lock to the actual flap.... Any ideas would be appreciatedCheersMat Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15322-fuel-cap-security/ Share on other sites

Guest pinmj001 Guests Posted 26/01/05 02:12 AM Share Posted 26/01/05 02:12 AM Tell me about it.. And for anyone who cares, 25 bucks at autobarn for a lockable cap. Seems to work ok, at least it is some kind of deterant and it would be noisy to remove it.Cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15322-fuel-cap-security/#findComment-212948 Share on other sites
