Which dealer gave you this info?? I finaly had my dealer return my many calls telling me to bring her in Tuesday to have the clutch replaced!!I will be calling them tomorrow to quiz them on this recall. I certainly don't want them installing the same type clutch in it if there is a replacement on the way I have a track day set up for Sunday so that sould be really interesting. Better get on to the tow truck people now and make a booking to get it home after a few laps. Anyone want to start a sweep on how many laps I make around Darlington Park before it sh1ts itself?? He said production had been stopped and there would be a recall because there was a problem with the clutch and LOTS of cars were having issues, this was confirmed to me by the sales lady at another dealership half an hour later. Still at least there on to it, I just can't understand how they could be so stupid

Its more likely they are still being built but aren't going to be shipped until the problem is fixed.

Maybe the ones being built will be held before shipment and have the updated clutch fitted before being shipped to save FPV any more embarrassment with a bigger volume recall. Sad that it happened but heartening for current owners and prospective purchasers that at least the issue is being addressed. UNLIKE the POS TR3650 gearbox that Ford won't take responsibility for even after three years of complaints by 99% of owners.

Just like all high performance nwe generation cars. All I can say is I wish I had your woes!!Poor bas*ard!Russ

Could they have backed it off to make sales deadlines? Then it poses the next question.WTF are they going to use if they Build a GTHO???????????????This might answer a few questions why the MKII GT did not have a power increase?????????? NO clutch good enough at ford...
