LOL, it took a while for a post I have been on the forum for a very long time just reading and enjoy the quality of the posts, but I thought I would wait to I got my XR6T before making any comments as I need to experience driving a XR6T first.

Is 43k (on road) for an auto with leather, tints, and a few other options a good buy for a MK1 a similar MKII would be over $50K. I did not get the premium sound, but I haggle for headlight protectors and floor mats, for $44k he will put on 18 inch wheels are the 18's worth the extra 1k ? or should I wait for a while and get some other wheels down the track ?

Yeh get the 18s and then buy some aftermarket wheels later on if you want. You'd get over $1000 if you were to sell the 18s later on anyway (tyres are ~$550ea).
