I consider my car to be a xr6t/r31/gtr/s13 hybrid

and its good to compare the way a turbo runs on two diffrent motors eg 350rwkw ford and a 350rwkw gtr motor.. makes life interesting looking at two completely diffrent motors and cars

ZapXR6T- next day is the 24th sep

Oh this sounds fairly interesting. I don't mind the old 31's. They're quite a cool yet old school, rear wheel thrash machine.... Some of which give quite a few people a scare....

What did it end up making fatz?

I'm still considering one of these suckers for the 3ltr.

Out of curiosity, What boost levels does the xr6t require for say 270rwkw or 340rwkw. <clicks search button>

lawsy if you game and in sydney come out to oran park on the 24th

not so scary but more fun

man I need to wash my car

Oh that sounds tempting. Let me know what you are doing closer to the date and I'll see what I can do. I just renewed my cams (only level 3 or something, used for motorkhana's [mini rallies]) license too...

Also, I might be getting a go in a formula Ford sometime in the next few weeks, I'm not sure though, its meant to be a suprise for my birthday later this month... I'm not meant to know anything :P.

Should be good, I've possibly got a month full of motor racing lined up... Sweeeeeet.

lawsy mate I run the day so just give us a bell before hand and I can get you in the passengers seat to see what its about (0409226626)

cubes

I dont call the car the black ferrari for nothing

heres what happend

bought all the parts

up to the mate on saturday

injectors in no dramas fuel pump no dramas regulator no dramas

then I pulled the timeing belt off undo all the cam bolt replaced the intake cam all clearances spot on and fits just (18thou clearance on the head very close but within spec) then the exhaust cam drop it in torque it down and the cam lobs hit the head casting( obviously too large and the person I bought it of said it was a stage one cam but hey just doesnt fit my head)

so anyway after 3 hours idecide to put the stock cams back in toque them all down and on the last bolt it wont torque up to 10nm turns out ive stripped the furken thread out (this is a 5pm on saturday), so no chance of purchasing a heli coil (try and find on in newcastle on a saturday afternoon)

so anyway heli coil is purchases and the car put back to together on monday

plug the power fc in (d jetro version), anyway turns out its sofware tunable so I can turn the furker without the software( rented a sniffer to give it a quick tune) so in the end I have to put the stock injectors back in and and stock comuter, sold the cams, sold the power fc and buying a new stocka than I can fiddle with

so sh*t weekend all in all what a waste of money

but anyway

makes 280rwkw at 1 bar with the stock computer

with the powerfc and tune I predict 300 rwkw at 1 bar , but I will tune it up to 1.4 bar or until the clutch cryes no more
