Defending V8 Supercar Champions Stone Brothers Racing will officially unveil their New 3 Seater Ride Car during a team "Fan Day" at its Yatala base in Queensland on Saturday February 26.

Fans will have the chance to meet with Pirtek Racing's Marcos Ambrose and Caltex Havoline Ford driver Russell Ingall and get a "sneak peak" at the new SBR ride car with the chance to Win a Ride with any purchase of Merchandise.

There will be the chance to grab an autograph, get a photograph of the cars and secure massive "at cost" discounts on merchandise from previous seasons.

Some of the new 2005 merchandise range will be on sale and there will also be a host of racing memorabilia up for grabs and bits and pieces from the SBR cars.

"I think this is a great concept and will give us a chance to spend some time with the SBR fans and answer all of their questions before the season starts next month," said Ambrose, the newly-double crowned V8 Supercar

champion.

Heading into his thrid season with SBR, Ingall has his first elusive V8 Supercar championship in his sights in 2005.

"The response we had to the Fan Day last year was incredible and you can be sure it is only going to get bigger yet again," said Ingall. "I had a great year with SBR in my last season and I am looking forward to going one better in 2005."

Team co-owner Ross Stone says the response to the first 2 Fan Day's produced results way beyond expectations.

"We were expecting a few hundred fans, but we had a over 6000 thousand come through the gates," said Stone. "This day gives the fans a chance to come and have a chat with our drivers and also grab a bargain before the

season starts."

The Fan Day will have a family feel with free jumping castle, show bags, balloons and sausage sizzle for SBR's younger fans.

Turbo6.....I am still typing the wrong dates also so I suspect it is correct as 2004 Feb 26 was not a Sat

Goldie.....Can't confirm or deny that XR6/XR8 club is involved I know that last year a few of the car clubs turned up but it was completely organised by Stone Brothers......I know you are good at organising cruises (seen a few listed on the site) perhaps you can point me in the right direction.

Turbo6.....I tired that one time and they are reulctant to leave their protected tent area for fear of being mobbed. As an alternative I saw many people had removed certain parts of their car to be signed instead, ie engine cover, sun visors etc.
