Those figures sound pretty good, a NA getting those figures would be a very interesting drive. Too bad about the 19 mil. Maybe next time.

Also, a very nice, exciting and scenic (for the passengers) drive is as follows.

Early morning start to beat the bikes. From samford, up the windy bit to Mt Glorius (great to storm up the grades between each hairpin), Breakfast in a great little cafe on top, then down the other side towards the Wivenhoe rd, then on to Sommerset.

From there you can choose Kilkoy, or several others which all provide great open roads with lots of sweeping long curves.

Happy to do a recon if this appeals to anyone.

Hey Mactheknife,

Yeah, unfair!!! Why couldn't I be one of the lucky 20 winners. over $900,000 each

Well that's what I'm hoping can be achieved. There is a XR6 N/A (one of the cars in the "FPV/Tickford club) that is capable of around 230kw that has had similiar work to what we are planning to get done so here's hoping ours will do the same. See how everything goes.

That way, it will be harder for us to be left behind, Jodie is a hoon though....lol. Think she did well to keep up to you other guys. The drive through the mountains was indeed quite fun. :D

Basically work on the muffler system, air flow and computer. Hope to have the N/A around 220 - 230kw. Then who knows. It may be enough for us or we may need to make the next evolutionary step......"TURBO". <who knows>

Very interesting- Who is going to do your work? I have been talking with Rob Bliss about a new system for the XT, Cat back at this stage, and have considered a couple of alternatives- keen to know how you pla to get the extra ponies... If you want to share that is.

When I get back from over at this crappy island known formaly as Timor Leste'......(November or there abouts)

I will be taking my Falc down to Brisbane for a good dose of some hard earned leave, so might be able to take part in one of those things. My car is being built currently and I'll pick her up day I get back. Bought the MRS a little Focus 1.8 zetec, and may I say the little thing handles like you wouldn't believe, and it does 55kph in first <_< lol

Hey Guys:

I dont know if any of you have been to Darlington Park at Ormea, but I did yesterday.

I have never in my life seen a Go Kart track like it anywhere in Australia. We might be able to put a day together where we can cruise down and some "serious" driving.

The track has to be seen to be believed and if you make a mistake on it you will be mince meat....

The straigt is downhill and has a right hander at the bottom that the brave take flat out, just like conrod......

lets roll!

What do you think

Hi DallasQLD

Did they have hire karts at Darlington Park or did you go with someone who has their own kart?

I used to race karts 10 years ago, it was great fun.

I'd be up for anything like that.

BTW has anyone checked out www.sdt.com.au they have an awesome sounding package with advanced driver training, rallying, circuits, drags and go karts at Willowbank. All on the same day for around $300.

Anyone keen on that sort of thing?

Regards

Big AL
