LOL and then slammed the door too hard with the sh*ts when u jumped back in the car causing the ECU to fail !! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I wish....Unfortunately it doesn't register a fault code, which surprises me a bit. You tell the owner of the car there is a fault (on ICC screen), but don't log it (for WDS) so the Service Dept can trace it?? And lets face it... no error code then "there obviously isn't an error Sir"

I havn't had it done yet but yeah, the idle on my car is all over the place .. well when it feels like.. I'll be reading the responses of those who have had it done before I do it.. I can handle the idle having pulputations, so long as I remember im driving a 6 cly lol and not my 1st 302W on a hot day. The service bloke told me about it when I asked about the ICC error..YCC - Yeah, I can understand that after disconnecting the battery.. If I did discinnect the battery I wouldnt have been bothered.. prob is I did nothing but turn the car off.. and on. lol without slamming the doors and shaking up the insides.Cameron (Tupperware) - no progress whatsoever.. it hasn't done it since and I really dont expect it to do it again.. just want to know why it did.. I checked the amp but no problems there.. the sound hasn't played up again either. Im baffled. Ford (of course) were no help.. apparently they hadnt heard of it before and weren't obliging to look into it any further. When did it happen to you? whilst driving? did you notice a sound quality difference?CheersSpin

I think the ICC checks the security code with the PCM at startup - probably wrong though, as I also had no real feedback from Ford. It seemed to be a communication error with something else at power up, which then clears it's self after a couple of seconds. On a side note an XR6T at the Brisbane Car Show today had the same message up all day. Doesn't look good for sales PRCameron
