I will be getting GT4 basically for free :spoton: My mate pre ordered it before he did his hard drive mod on his PS2, for those that dont know, you can plug a normal computer hard drive, 80gb minimum into the back of your ethernet plugin on your ps2, then get some software which lets you upload the games from the dvd and run them without the disc in the machine straight off the hard drive, (only works on older version PS2) anyway he will be doing this and lending the disc to me for as long as I want it.

I just cannot wait to mod cars in this game.... I wonder if they will finally allow turbo conversions? I hope there are more and more indepth ways to mod things now, with a few closer details like, severely limiting the power with standard exhausts on high end machines (in some previous GT's the difference at 1000 hp was about 50hp, and 30 at stock?? Should be like 200 at 1000 and about 20 at stock!)...

Anyways, I'm sure this will turn out to be an awesome game.... I just need to get the funds to get a ps2, the greatest racing wheel I can find, and gt4......

You will be able to supercharge the v8's in GT$ were before you could only really do the engine kits, and rumor is there will be nitrous included for mods also, which to me would indicate a fairly decent drag racing section of the game as I doubt it would be used on the track (pretty silly if you could)

I wonder if the cars will change appearance if they have a big supercharger hanging out the bonnet?

Was in EB Games this morning. Apparently Aus release date is now 10 or 11th of March. I have now pre-ordered a copy to make sure I have one when it is released.

A confirmed release date doesnt mean much with this game, its first confimred date I recall was in may 2004, then august, december, jan 05, feb 05, now march. So I would be expecting it around october. It would want to be soon, as all this waiting might make peoples expectatons of it higher than what it delivers.
