Who's getting personalised plates for their new XR6t and what is it?

I'm in Qld and without spending $1895 on a prestige plate I've opted for a retro with the lettering OXR-747 at $195 completes my New turbo XR, WHEN I finally get it!

After having to pay only $50 for my original DZ plates in the NT, I tend to balk at the prices you have to pay for personalised plates in the other states.

All the good ones are probably in the hands of profiteers by now. I'll give it a miss given the asking prices

Yeah - I know of a certain someone who ordered FPV 40L, and FPV 54L . one of those plates is gonna look sorta silly on a Mazda 121... so I guess he is selling one (or both)

Well i had my eyes on XR6T and BAXR6T and XR6T8U but decided not to. Can't really justify spending $450 a year on plates (as i did with my last car). My new plates are my initials and date of birth. So I still have my individuality.

:D

SFN-KTR   is my preferred. Suits a black XR don't you think....  more terror in the eyes of the SS pilots...

Congrats - Simon got it in one... I think the reference was for the 'pucker' factor more than anything. Also, you can imagine the wry grin on fellow motorists at the lights as they gaze around and think to themselves, 'oh, that's nice, what car is that?'. Then they glance at the plates and grin (that's if they 'geddit' of course).

Anyhow its a moot point 'cuz I don't think the reg dept. will let me get away with it :D

annnnd..... the wife has come down and said 'there ain't no way she is stooging around town in a car with 'date plates''.

bugger....

ps. signed the final finance paper work over the weekend. Dealer is yet to get something to me in writing detailing our order ( ie SIDO #)
