Nice look Dave, and better than the Fury's.

I suspect that the photos don't do the car justice.

What brand of tyres did you go with?

Brian

Thanks heaps guys!

Brian, I went for Hankook Ventus Sports - great tread, and a genuine square 275 tyre that gives me heaps more traction. They arent a round tyre like like the falkens.

Just want to make a quick recommendation on those Honkook Ventus 104s we've just changed our 18s to those tyres and must say for a tyre which was less than half the price of the dunnylops (yes half the price) they have great traction great grip and are very quiet compared to previous. And great ride. My mate also has these tyres on his xr6 ute with 19's and I can say they seem to wear pretty damm well too. considering his driving style and light arse end they are quite impressive.

Oh and by the way that is one beatuiful ride you got there. Really Really good visaul package. I'm not normally a fan of that colour but that is the exception looks fantastic great work

Hi guys,

For those of you who didn't come to the Qld cruise on Tuesday or didn't see the pics, here are a few pics of my car with my new wheels.

They are 19 inch Vault Kaotik's, in Shadow Chrome. They allow me to have true 275 rubber at the rears, which I desperately needed after my recent power upgrade and re-map.

I couldn't go past 5 spoke rims, despite being tempted by other styles.  These are fatter and more agressive than the Fury's.  The Fury's were my first mod, and the car has undergone significant changes since then.  I reckon the new wheels suit the fatter look of my car.  What do you think?

Dave

nice looks better than your other wheels

I have to agree after having fusions that a 5 spoke rim looks better on such a big car they make the car look tough

Thanks XR6PSI,

First time I'm trying these tyres - so far no complaints at all.

Thanks Adam, yeah I agree. Your car looked great with the Fusions, but I reckon it looks more like a formidable muscle car now. Look forward to meeting you when I'm back in Melbourne. I can't wait to get back onto the Melbourne streets!
