Haven't played for about 12 months, due to it not being the type of game you can play for 5 mins here and there. You really need to sit for an hour or two, which just isn't viable for me these days. As much fun as I had playing WOW, it's that good that it really promotes poor health and poor social habits (albeit a socially strong game). This sh*t really can effect personal relationships, as you end up playing instead of doing things you'd be better off doing. It promotes laziness I reckon.Anyway, if someone wants to buy a decked out LVL70 mage, LVL70 hunter and some amazingly geared 19 twink priest, warrior and mage. Give me a shout. I'll swap for a set of 22s for my TT. I know Geea through WOW somehow. Looked on the armory but could only find a well geared lock. How would that name ring a bell to someone on Lightning's Blade? In summary, DON'T LET YOUR KIDS PLAY WOW. It'll kill their social skills (talking real life skills here) and turn them into angry little pricks who get angry when they can't play. /cheer

This game opened up the MMORPG genre for me. But the day The Lord of The Rings Online (LOTRO) hit the shelves I switched. I would like to still have WoW, but I just can't justify two $15/mon. subscriptions. The nice thing about WoW is that they keep your characters on the server if you end your sub., so you can buy a game card and pick up where you left off. I know I was on Killrog, but I can't remember the other server.LOTRO is everything WoW is but with graphics five times better. There is no PvP, or at least there wasn't at launch (in Middle Earth, an Elf would never fight another Elf), but they may have added a Duel feature. I never played PvP in WoW, so it's not important to me. If you want to attack other players, you can play as an Orc or Uruk or Troll, and venture out to raid anyone (flagged for Duel or not).Crafting is very complex (growing pipeweed is a comical twist), and yields some awesome gear. You can even buy houses in housing communities, with three house types for each of the four races (Human, Hobbit, Dwarf, Elf) from a two room to a multi-level Kinship (guild) house. You can decorate the place with items from around Middle Earth, that you can buy or craft. Even stuffed trophy's, like bears or Troll heads. If you're a Tolkien fan, there is no other MMO, in my opinion. The level of story depth and visual detail are intense. And you can get a horse at level 35. Heyyeah I bought it 2 days ago. I wouldnt call it addictive..Its just VERY time consuming. Took me 2 days to get to level 16. I'm starting to get bored of it already, very repetitive.2 days will get you interested. 2 weeks will keep you planted. One thing I find amusing, is that some of the classes allow you to have pets, for attacking etc.. Hillarious seeing some very high level players with little panda's, rabbits etc following them.. Nice. A friend bought my Dark Elf Rogue a yellow tabby one time. It was pretty comical to be fighting a bear with your kitty by your side.
