Kazaa is a POS, don't go near it. It ties up your machine like you wouldn't believe.

Bearshare works FAB. Very seldom do you get a bad file. Most of my downloads seem to be at about 500 kb/s with the best so far at about 1500 kb/s.

I use limewire - seems OK, but every second files a trojan or the like.

Hint: Make sure you have a VERY, VERY GOOD Virus Scanner Operating while downloading anything from these PTP proggies.

I'll only use em in a Virtual Machine nowadays. Virus City :-)

Cant tust anyone.

Seems trying to 'evaluate' software is getting harder and harder :spoton:

This is what I use...

uTorrent for Movies, Music, XBox Games - doesn't chew resources like Azureus.

DC++ for Obscure Music, Movies ie. Psy Trance, Goa, Chill but also hundreds of hubs actively sharing Top 40, Rock, Alternative... pretty much whatever, excellent program and access to as much as you like as long as your share, been using this one for years without a hassle.

Bearshare for bits 'n' pieces like Funny movies etc.
