Was Anyone Out At Willowbank Tonight

Just wondering if anyone was out at willowbank tonight? I was there watching a mate run his GTR, couldnt believe how many cars were out tonight well over 200.

There were a few T's out also, with the best one runnung a mid 13.

Yep...there was a cast of thousands! There were a few from the forum. You should have come and said g'day. There was Waxyjj, Goose, Cooltint, Rednut, whizzer (didn't run).

I ran a mid 13. Still couldn't crack a 12. BUGGER! Gotta get my changes right.

oh well, maybe on the 19th Jan. I think there will be a few of us out there then as well.

I saw a black ute and wondered if that was rednut.. I was gonna come looking but SWMBO didnt want to miss her brother in law run his bike, I dont think I would have found you guys anyway, it looked more like the winternats than a test and tune. I will be out again on the 19th of Jan as my unichip goes in on the 17th, also dont want to miss the Geea vs xlr8ed showdown.

Is your T the lightning strike with silver GT stripes?

If you meant Blueprint with silver GT stripes, that was me.

I don't think silver stipes on a lighting strike would look too good.

See you on the 19th - hopefully with a few less cars there.

I take it your running phase II or equilivent if your expecting to break into the 12's? Are you auto or manual? what went wrong with your gear changes?

I ran a 13.2 @111mph so am quite happy (pb is 12.88 @ 112mph) in my T.

I've got an auto with about 280rwkw's.

With the RDP computer, the car hits the soft limiter before the auto changes, so I have to change manually. D**khead here did the same thing 3 runs in a row - changed manually 2-3, but with the lag in the auto change, it had already changed into third itself, then changed into 4th straight after (my manual change, even though I selected before the auto changed itself), so it dropped to 3500 revs at around 3/4 of the way down the track. Doh!

There's another T&T on next Wednesday. Might see if I can get it right then.
