The response by customers has been amazing, every second customer has donated money for the appeal. The smallest donation has been $50 the highest was $500 and I was one of five tellers working in the last two days. In the twelve years I have worked in the bank, we have had many appeals, but I have never seen such generosity as this one. I am totally amazed by the wonderful people of Australia and their instant response to a tragedy.
