Ok.  This is all new to me and I am wanting to learn more, so to help me put it into perspective can someone answer this for me.

11.5:1

12.0:1

12.5:1

13.0:1

13.5:1

Out of all those above which end is to lean and which end is to rich, since pete has already stated the 12:1 is what he likes to call optimal, I would like to know the rest.  Thanks.

ok I understand it now, the higher the number eg. 16:1 is worse than a lower one as there is less fuel volume for that volume of air than what there would be for a ratio of 12:1.
