Posted 22/12/04 03:32 PM Share Posted 22/12/04 03:32 PM I'll be staying in Sydney for a few nights in January and was hoping for some reccommendations on places to stay. I have 2x11yr olds and a 3 yr old. I'd prefer somewhere that had things for kids to do. Not really fussed what area. I'd like to catch up with the Sydney crew possibly Tuesday night (18th) and I'm going racing Wednesday night. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Geea. Great beaches, lots of restaurants, a short ferry ride to the City or to Taronga Zoo. If you can't get accommodation there, go slightly further north to Curl Curl etc, it is still only a 10-15 drive south to those features. All the beaches along that strip are great for that age group. Good surf but safe for kids to swim as well. The trip to WSID from that area would take you about an hour. jdo Member 88 Member For: 20y 11m 21d Location: Mosman Posted 22/12/04 11:46 PM Share Posted 22/12/04 11:46 PM I agree - go the North Shore somewhere if you can. I don't know what your budget is, but my recommendation would be the Manly Pacific. Literally on the beach, great food, great views (in every sense of the word) and only about ten minutes from my place I guarantee that you'll see my gf and I down there in the F6... speaking of which, we might have to see if we can give you an escort up to Willowbank (I assume that is what the trip to Sydney is in aid of?) Posted 23/12/04 12:32 AM Author Share Posted 23/12/04 12:32 AM Thanks for the reply's guys. The North Shore sounds good. I'm working the next couple of nights and then we have xmas. On Monday I'll be doing the books hopefully so keep the ideas coming. The purpose of the trip is the family holiday. I take 2 weeks every year and get as far away from work as I can. It just happens that I have managed to fit in days at WSID and Willowbank this year and hopefully a cruise or 2. The kids love the theme parks and we will definately be going to a few.I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you guys as possible.Geea.
