Also, I thought that the timing/cams control was changed, and this should have produced more bottom end? (After 2 years with the Turbo, I still miss the bottom end pull of my old AU 5ltr)

Mal, I don't think there is any substitute for cubic inches when it comes to initial torque from idle to 1500 revs. The Nizpro revised piping gives better response from say 1800 revs, but for off-idle torque it's very hard to beat a 5-6 litre V8 (fyi I've had 8 V8's). Also, I don't think that this new software has independent cam control, (correct me if I'm wrong), so retaining the inefficient factory inlet piping, and without the independent cam control, I would not expect much extra low down torque.

I'm going down the more expensive path of Motec with independent cam control feature and larger turbo, so that'll be interesting to see what low down improvement in torque is possible.

Probably a really stupid question but is this edit the stealth or something different. It sounds like you have fitted it yourself.

There are that many different systems being talked about I am wondering which one this is?

sheet, there's quite a few people reading this!

So the AFs won't be perfect when you first flash the PCM, but as time goes on it will learn and correct the AFs??

wasn't the cam timing changed too, so wouldn't this affect (for the better) it's off boost response??

I was under the impression that the 8psi tune was set very rich, why was this done??

The 10psi tune was meant to have all it's safety limits move out of harms way, does this mean that with the addition of a big exhaust (including cat) and intercooler the computer will "learn" to cope and stay at 10psi with good AFs??

Dave.

^^^^anyone care to try ând answer my questions??^^^^

got mine today,its AWESOME !!!!!!

straight in to the 10psi map,at a couple of stages it would drop power for an instant then pick up again, not as smooth for me as the 8psi which I am using now. :smilielol:

cant get enough of this, its like having a new car again.
