Thanks, but can't make it, due to inlaws 50th anninversary.

South circuit is short, but a lot of fun. Just be careful of the concrete wall coming onto the main straight.

Going on the track is not about being a Marcus Ambrose and driving at 10/10ths. I have done about 40 private track days over the years and have never hit anything or anybody. I have only seen a few crashes and they were by people you could tell were an accident waiting to happen. The idea of these type of days are to experience the complete range of our cars and not to thrash the crap out of it. Overtaking is only on the straight, so you will not be rubbing panels with other drivers.

If you are not going to try the drifting, and only do the circuit stuff, you will find the tyre wear will be minimal, as you pump them up to 45psi. I would also love to see some XR's out there so I am not always the only Ford driver with all the Nissans. You will find it is a relaxed day and when the Drifto boys start playing it is fun to watch.

It will be great if you guys come along, you can bring the whole family as the facilities there now make it comfortable for spectating as well.

yea I have done a tone of track days and wakefield is fun

but in comparison oran park is 100 time more fun

if you stay within your limits you wont even come close to a wall

its a great day and if you do the circuit work and dont wat to do the drift all you have to do is tap a drift boy on the sholder and strap yourself in for a fun ride

we have about all top ten drifters from nsw in attendance and if you go for a ride with these boys its worth the entry fee alone

get into it I say

we have a profesional motorsport video person there for the day as well and you can organise some incar vid and external video coverage for a small extra price

What would happened if it rain

Come on girls lets get out there does'nt matter if you have std brakes as you dont have to be flat out all the time and then you let your brakes cool down in between some hard stints,I've been 1/4 mile dragging and I've had one day at eastern creek in a car with std brakes and im hooked on circuit work its the best fun you can have in your T :w00t2:

THANKS FATZ :w00t2:

if it rains.. we turno on our wiscreen wipers :w00t2:

that's about it

here is a deal for the ford forums guys

the price for you is 140

now if you get 10 people in you get it for the price of nine

so instead of paying 1400 for 10 = 140 each

you pay 1250 for 10 = 125

that's should get some team spirit going and as a club I cant see qhy you cant get 10 people (im sure there could be some hand timing arranged for some bragging right)

How much time on the curcuit will we get, I dont understand drifting at all, but that's cool, anywhere there is petrol being used and rubber burned, Im happy, but will we get 10 mins or two hours on the track, that's all, if we get a fair go I would love to come.

Eugene,

Its 30mins circuit and then 30 mins drift.

I can tell you that you will have pleanty of time on the track.

The drift boys usually run out of rubber by 2pm, and some people have had enough. 30 min blocks are great as it gives you enough time to put a lot of laps in and then time for the car to cool down for another run. :spoton:
