macka I have a v2 vortech in stock for you to see keep forgetting to tell you its been there 2 weeks now!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

V2? Pffft...

Its either J trim, X trim or Z trim! Dont dilly dally round with these pissy little V2 blowers, they dont cut the mustard. I use a V2 for a paperweight..... 20 psi? Hardly enough! 29 psi? Muuuuuch better. :spoton:

XC 378ci with J trim coupled up with a front mount and some Haltech injection? Yes please.

I'm thinking supercharged XR6 and edit might be on the cards.  :kissmy:

macka don't waste your time or money, a turbo XR6T will hose the S/C XR6 easily and with better power and torque across the entire rpm range.

I've seen a number of supercharged XR6 engines over the years and to say they are disappointing would be a gross understatement. :pinch:

Peter could you please explain as to why this would be the case?

Did people just bolt these superchargers on and expect miracles or were the tuned using a chip of some type.

I don't understand why this would be the case as both systems are ramming equivelent amounts of boost on the same engine base?

I realize the supercharger draws a small amount of power to drive it but the boost comes on earlier in the rpm range.

If only we could get that supercharger sound out of these hair dryers my car would be complete

Yep he was talking xr6

I have seen an xr8 supercharged do 404 with no edit, so I would say that this is not so fantastic.JMO

After talking to the guy that owned it, it's got a fully built Boss with a Ford Motorsport crank, rods and pistons...running about 16psi with a hi-flowed V2, SO I think it has plenty of scope for more power...I think he needs to update to a V7 and screw about 22-25psi into it!!!

Do the same to N/A XR6 how could it not perform as good as a turbo.
