And the eye level brake light has been removed!!  now it's just a bulge in the parcel shelf.

Are you sure about this.....I thought that from 1990 or was it 1991 it was law to have the brake light in the rear screen???

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'm sure I'll be swiftly corrected if I'm wrong - but I think the more recent of the MKI off the line were missing the centre brake light as well. And rightly so considering there's a strip of LEDs on the spoiler right behind it!

Well pointed out! Why the hell is the hump still on the parcel shelf???

they've all forgot about the different diff ratio from 3.46:1 to 3.73:1

Yeh but isn't it all relative to the new ratios in the 6spd? I thought that once you factor in new diff & gear ratios it was pretty much the same?

Nup, you'll find that your one doesn't work. Same goes for any car with leds in the spoiler. It's illegal to have both, but must have at least one somewhere.

Mine still has the Sub (premium sound) speaker cover there which uses part of the hump, I guess it it cost effective for Ford to do it that way.
