Well done mate.

Only wish I was there to see it as well.

I would'nt expect to hear from many of the doubting Thomas's as they are busy pushing their own barrow now that their system have finally hit the market. This was the main reason for all the attacks. To take the heat off themselves and the 2 week wait. :spoton:

The best part is the fact that the time and HP was done with a stock T engine with the only mods being the intake and intercooler.

Look forward to getting mine to Calder early next year

Wish you and your family a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.

AHHHH!!! it feels good to be part of a team that has been proven right don't it.

Well dynowog and take that cheesy grin of satisfaction of your face   the work has only just began

HP HP HP MERRY XMAS, MERRY XMAS

Hey Macka,

Thanks Buddy !

Once I sort it out a bit more it'll be run again, maybe we'll make sure you're there too. We know Geea will be there, and JB wants to run beside me (Being another modified manual) So we can make a night of it ! :spoton:

Does feel good to have finally proven it though..... It is rewarding to have done it with nothing but Intercooler, and ECU. Even more so after all the Sh!t that was spouted about it not being possible !! :kissmy:

I think Bakedbeans should at least be chased up over his offer to pay the site's fees for a year ! I'd hope he is traceable anyhow !

Hope you and your tribe also have a great Christmas, and an even merrier New Year !

Aly

Pretzel,

I am confused about this ... you say your car has 300rwkw when people running similar MPH have measured significantly less than these figures ... just trying to work out if you have got all that much more from stock injectors than anyone else has?!?!

I saw geea mention using your calcs he has 412rwkw ... wha? :k24t:

Not having a go, just looking for the facts :w00t2:

Cheers, Jason.

Jason all of this can discussion can be very confusing, dyno figures and what power can be generated from stock XR6T injectors...............bottom line a chassis dyno is a tuning tool not a marketing tool.

I know that Big Mick ran 118 MPH with an ET of 12.16 secs (on standard street rubber) and that T had was fitted with an APS Phase II system and produced 272 RWkW's on the APS/ Dyno Dynamics dyno in shoot 6 software. :w00t2:

It's also not just about the peak power figure, as important is what power the engine generates across the entire engine RPM operating range. :w00t2:

I would not worry too much about the speed caclulator and what power is states the engine produces..............at the end of the day/night you have a ET and MPH which says it all. :kissmy:

Ive had similar results with the six speed and the auto but yes im quoting the auto...the six speed has run the best of 13.01@115mph and it then had 302rwkw...

Anybody else confused, cause I sure as hell am :w00t2::kissmy:

Nearly same times with a 60 rwkw difference. Don't make any sense to me.

So lets split the difference and say its 280 rwkw using standard fuel system, no matter which way you look at it, it's still 40 + more rwkw than everyone else says is possible.

well done.

Well he did record a figure of 395 rwkw on dynowogs dyno. :w00t2:

My question is if a car that has between 280 - 300 rwkw runs a 13.2 and Craig and Deanno are running 11.8 sec passes how much more power do they really have. there's a fair margin in times and mph for 40 odd rwkw don't you think.

food for thought I would say. :w00t2:

Macka, Jeff has 2 "T's". He has quoted the power and times for both. The 13.12@108.54 mph 242 rwkw's is for his auto. The 13.01@115mph 302rwkw is for his manual.

Hope this helps clear Jeff's comments up.

Regarding the standard injectors. My old car had 233rwkw's with 2nd CAI, no centre muffler and Xede. With this combination it ran 13.3 on 2 different nights.

The power figures were off HPF's dyno and times were at Calder 12 months ago.

Does anyone know what power street tuna had when he ran the 12.8 in his ute. That could give an indecation of the power too.

Geea. :kissmy:
