Pretzel.

Congrats, the bottom line is that you ran a number and that's all that should matter. Also, as long as you are happy with your car.

Now to what may be construed as a downer - but it's not meant to be okay...please, I'm not having a go here at you at all Pretzel.

I've looked at a whole heap of internet based 1/4 mile calculators, and I have to say that the one you linked to is the only one that I have found comes up with what they claim as rear wheel power.

On every other one it acheives the same figure (437hp) but this is at the flywheel and not the rear wheels.

If you were to use the other calculators using 516hp as the power at the engine, all will come up with a possible 1/4 mile of a ridiculous (it would never happen in a manual roadie) 11.6 at a very practical 117mph.

All I'm saying is that I am just a tad suspect about the particular internet calculator.

Thanks guys,

Miyagi,

Yeah I may have pushed it a bit far up the doubters clackers, but hey I'm just glad it has proven the figures are around what we were saying (Within Driver tolerance for driving slowly of course !)

Scotty,

90 sounds about right.... (Oh all right I might make 90 first thing in the morning, after a good crap !!) I guess with Helmet etc, I'd be between 95-100(ish) But if it is as you suggest 4200 that only makes it look more respectable !

As you suggest, my slower run would back up the figure we set it to on the dyno on the way to Calder, so it is good to have results on the board... Although I do feel there is a few areas I could improve on !

Peter,

I'm reasonably happy with the ET and MPH, I was hoping for a little better, But I guess for my first two runs I can't complain too much !! Look at others regularly doing it, and how they improve with runs !

What did your T weight on the Bridge then, I was only guessing that it was around the 1750 with fuel, plus 95-100 (ish for me) then another 10 or so for extra crap in the car, like Laptop and stuff. Happy to use the figure you found when weighed though, as it will be close enough to my car I imagine !

Miss Aly and I went to Calder last night for the first time to see the local boys run.

As spectators it was easy to see that you would have to do a lot of runs to get every thing down pat, to achieve good quarter times.Well done Prettzel (Knotty) very good times considering first two runs and not much time for prep.

I have no reason to doubt these guys, Im so impressed that Nick(Big Dick) is fitting an EMS to my ute as this goes to air. These guys are true to there word so put your ears on you might find something out

Well done Pretzel. :spoton:

Fredwho,

No problem with you stating that the site I linked to may be dubious, It's the Sh!t fights that I was trying to avoid (Like has happened in the past whenever I have mentioned the EMS and my car)

I have no problem with discusion etc.. Hey I don't mind people thinking differently to me, everyone has the right to be wrong :thumbsup:

I'm happy to use any site for the calculations, that was just the first site that came up in my Google search this morning. Have a good site you reccomend ?
