Yeah, read the article. that's all the Mustang has.

Um, that's a BIG thing to have..........................

The 2 door Late model camira looks and is ancient and as far as looks go, absolutely ridiculed by the Mustangs modern and aggressive retro style . LOL @ the GTO being like an Aunty with mean eyebrows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I have now driven both Mustang GT and the new LS2 Model Monaro/GTO. Exterior styling yeah the Mustang has it. However, there is no way I would buy a car when the quality of it absolutely sucks and the driving experiance doesnt excite. The LS2 absolutey :msm: all over the Mustang. The Mustangs interior felt, looked (WAS) extremly cheap. The seats were unsupportive. I have been on bench seats with more support :pooh: Driving the car felt horrible. Feedback through the wheel of whats happening absolutley sucked. Although they timed the Stang in the high 13 ¼ range and a 0-60 in 5.1 it felt no where near that quick. The LS2 on the other hand felt like an animal. Why have they put a live rear axel in a "sports coupe"? that's just stupid. Ford once again have F'd it up. Styling was there, it was hyped very well before release and now it is out and taking that closer look it shows the great american build quality and love for tacky interior materials.

With saying that I wouldnt buy the GTO either. It has nothing on some of the sports coupes available in terms of refinment. Plus like mensioned it is an old car, but boy does that LS2 rock! You are all familar with the quality of the interior of the Monaro. So if it :pooh: all over the Mustang quality and build then imagine how the Mustang really is.

Blah, I couldn't even be bothered reading all that.........................2 Door Late model camira is gay, get over it.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

:msm: Get over it pendeho

This isn't really a fair comparison because the Mustang is just a base model V8 that is a hell of a lot cheaper than a GTO. The GTO's real competitor will be the SVT Mustang Cobra when it is released.

How do you figure? Base GT Mustang is around US$25,000 when optioned with standard things in the Pontiac GTO (eg:leather) both cars are around the $30,000 mark. SVT Cobra when it comes out will be competition for the 500hp LS7 GTO Judge.

Having had a 2001 Mustang Cobra, there is no way I would take a Monaro over the Mustang!!!!

Not just for outright performance, but looks, dynamics, chassis communication etc

The Mustang (Tickford enhanced) is a bloody good car and craps all over the 2 door Commodore.
