I heard the dance version of the national anthem that will be played at the big new years eve party in Sydney. Personnaly I think its woefull. It has a seriously bad techno beat sung by what seems to be an 80 year old woman put in a choke hold (well not quite that bad, but its bad)

Whats your thoughts.

Dazza.

I don't think it was completely horrible, however the timing seemed a bit out and made it a little annoying to listen to.

It could've been done a hell of a lot better to say the least, but overall I'd give it a 5/10.

Most of those points are for effort and for annoying John Howard :crybaby:

Saw/heard it on the late news last night - John Howard's facial expression when he heard it for the first time pretty much sums it up for me as well.

What a friggin joke, some things in life should stay sacred, and although it's not the most enthralling of jingles it's one thing that shouldn’t be fiddled with.

Who sings it anyway - it sounds like that annoying bloody Nikki Webster?

Trent.

I'd like to hear someone try to sing along to it ... :w00t2:

I heard it on TV the other day. I've got no problem with people doing the anthem in different ways, but this version sounds pretty ordinary.
