Great result and I really should put it into my BA.

When I read about people upgrading their front stage it usually means they have upgraded the existing 5x7" speakers with much better versions. I have removed a pair of 6.5" Focal Polykevlar splits from my last car (Lancer Coupe) and I would REALLY like to reinstall it in the XR6T if I can. I think the mounting depth is about 70mm.I have heard about the idea of using an MDF spacer to allow the 6.5" speakers to fit into the 5x7" hole - has anyone tried this?I haven't had a look inside the door frame yet (I'm too afraid to take the trim off when the car is still relatively new ) - does anyone have any pics of what the door interior looks like? Have you changed the front speakers yet?Oh, and I completely forgot about the tweeter. Has anyone had any success in swapping out the factory tweeter? I think my pair of Focals have an 85mm tweeter (3 3/8")I think I'm going to have to grit my teeth soon and pull apart my door trim (and then hope I can put it back together again :banghead:)).
