One other thing which makes my blood boil is politics. Not so much the main game politics, though the government wasting my tax money is a major issue but is out of my control, but the politics in the workplace, especially my workplace.  I come in to work to do a job and try to do it to the best of my ability but when the boss who has no knowledge or experience of what I do or how I do it starts interferring and making out that they know all and start changing things, this makes my blood boil. Or when I have ideas on improvements or changes based on the years of experience I have working in the job and the boss totally ignores any suggestions I have and goes with some other plan that some other (not so)bright spark  from some other area (possibly not even from this country let alone this business) has come up with. Even worse if this comes from some outside consultant who was paid mega buck$ to come up with this idea and it is a ripoff of someone elses original idea anyway. Just bercause some fancy idea works (or doesn't...) in Company A that is located on the other side of the planet is not neccessarily going to work in this one (in fact almost guanteed not to). By all means investigate these changes or different procedures and see if they can work for this organisation but don't accept them as being the be all and end all to fix any problems (problems that aren't neccessarily there). I'm not against change, just change for change sake. Don't fix what aint broke is my motto.

or when you come up with a good cost saving concept or to make things run smoothly or to make a better product . the boss says no I dont think that's a good idea at all .

2 weeks later change to one of my ideas , head honchos send out emails & memos saying what a great idea the boss had .

Oh yeh, I hate those automated telephone system with a vengence too! I hang up on them and won't deal with that company unless I really, really have to, for that reason. Even if I pay more for the product or service at another company I don't mind as lond as I don't have to deal with those automated telephone systems!

I don't mind the automated telephone systems, as long as when I press the button I don't end up getting put on hold for ages. When I was first getting insurance for my car, I had to ring up the insurance company numerous times, and every time I would be on hold for at least ten minutes. (I'm not with that insurance company any more!)

inconsiderate/selfish people - my motto:- "do unto others ... etc"

bad drivers,

misleading advertising,

State and Fed govts. making self employed people do their work for them,

bad drivers,

rip-off fuel prices - esp for LPG which costs zilch to produce,

broken or forgotton election promises - are you listening Johnny?
