Good to see you are thinking about getting a chip put in Dutchie....Go the XEDE!!  :gooff:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I couldnt agree more, not to bag the others as I have no experiance with them, but with the limited time I have had the xede I could not be happier, the guys at chiptorque are fantastic, bent over backwards to fit me in and tune her up, very basic mods with a good output, and happy to tell you hat they are doing all the way.

go xede and go chiptorque.

Can you keep me posted on how its going? Im deciding between APS phase 1 or XEDE chip. the APS is $2590.00, 240rwkw, compered to $1571 big difference in cost for close power!

Cheers Mick.

Hi Mick,

I'm now seriously lookign at the edit. Possibly even waiting until APS come out with theirs on 1st March 2005.

A lot of talk has been around especially over the past 10-12 weeks regarding the Edit and this is also another way for Ford to not be able to find the extra boost capability.

Nothings sits on the current Ford ECM thus almost undedectable especially when you get from 4-6 mappings.....

I believe you will get around 310KW (250 RWKW) with 6 mappings from APS for $995.00. That was a previous link I found from APS themselves.....(on this sight)....

And with more people doing them, in around month, we should be able to get a better picture of just what this Edit can do.....

I am looking at getting around 250 RWKW and saving some fuel.....nothing more....

just as a sidenote, Micksta you can get the APS Unichip only (minus injectors) I believe for around the same price as the Xede unit (only)... they are much of a muchness really based on my readings on here... which means they are both good options

Hold off a tad and wait for APS Edit... ;)
