Posted 12/12/04 07:53 PM Share Posted 12/12/04 07:53 PM Off set is the distance between the centre of the rim where it goes on to the hub and the out side of the rim.On the ba's it is 114 mm as with the au's.Ian Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/14569-help-with-rim-offset/#findComment-198045 Share on other sites

Offset is the distance from the hub back to the centre of the rim. On AU/BA it is anywhere from 32mm to 38mm. 40mm offset will go on without a problem in most instances.XtRmn8 - they should be OK as the 40mm is indeed the offset figure. They are the same spec (size) as the Lowenheart rims that GOLDIE has so they should fit! They said they will fit. Finally found a rim that I like and would look good on the Fairmont Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/14569-help-with-rim-offset/#findComment-198179 Share on other sites
