Sure, Sure, Sure.. It's gotta be someone elses fault... Not ours for wanting for more for less... Crazy Bargain, Cut Price stores are biggest growth business in Australia... Take you pliers or outdoor furniture back there and they will give you another one just as fecked up as the first one//..........

OK…. So we have our cars now lets have a look at what we do with them..

Burn Fuel

Do you realise the adrenaline we get from stepping on the gas is not just from our personal pleasure but perhaps we are enjoying the homecoming for millions and billions of atoms..

Let me explain… Several hundred million years ago Carbon and hydrogen and oxegon atoms are floating about the planet minding there own business when they are snapped up by a plant or animal and due to photosynthesis or metabolism are turned into an organic substance.. Over millions of years, the dead animals and plants got buried deeper and deeper. The heat and pressure gradually turned the mud into rock and the dead animals and plants into oil ….They stay in this state until they are realesed… The compression of these dead critters under land and sea produces Crude oil ( after at least 400 million years) and plenty weight

Crude oil is a mixture of these hydrocarbons. They are often chains of carbon atoms with hydrogens attached. The longer chains have higher boiling points, so they can be separated by distillation. I.E. Petroleum or Petrol is born as we know it but the atoms are still trapped together (and some of them probably don’t like each other)…..

OK so here we have these hostages for a billion years or more finding their way into your fuel tank… Along the fuel lines through the fuel pump, injector pump – Injectors – Induction, compression POWER ------ Bang….. These tiny molecules that have been trapped for longer than we can imagine are finally set free… Fire the great escapist…. Broken from there chemical bond and returned to their natural state….. How frikin happy do you think they would be after serving that long…. OK exhaust – out manifold once round turbine, down exhaust ( Molecule says what the hell is all this compression here in the CAT thing, we didn’t have them 400 million years ago”) out the exhaust and free…. Yaaaahhhhhhhhhhh after 400 million years…. Carbon, Oxegon and hydrogen are set free… For some of the more unfortunates they will promptly get soaked up by a roadside shrub, weed or critter and be back in the limbo zone for another 400 mill… Some however will taste real freedom…. Float about on jetstreams across the globe.. Lunch in New York, dinner in Paris……

Think about this next time you hit the gas… You are a molecular saviour…. Tell the police when they arrest you that you are an evolutionary equalitist…… Keeping the balance…

Apparently if you burn down a police station it will have the same affect… Release those atoms back into the atmosphere where they belong…..

Share in the joy of the homecoming ……………………….

The weird thing is, I've never done anything to do with engineering, but I did pay attention in year 7 - 10 science and I understand everything he is saying perfectly....

I think some blonks have far far to much time on thier hands! You hand someone $50,000.00 of your hard earned cash for an underdeveloped box of problems and see how you feel.
