These results are possibly misleading as Ford claim 270kw at the flywheel and you should on average lose one third of that through the drive line. Not all dynos are the same and atmospheric conditions can alter these findings. :w00t2:

One third ... geez I'd hope NOT. A manual as a rule of thumb will lose 15% - 17%. An auto (modern) will lose 18% - 20%.

I will have it a guess Peter that with one F6, 6 new squirts and APS edit you could or would have reached the same 300rwkw's?

I realise at this point your still using the same hardware that you use on the XR6T (piggyback) to get the results. But surely with APS edit and squirts you could do the same? (and even more)

I would also have it a guess you would not want to comit to that at this point either?

Either way you have done well and it looks like FORD got it right and have given the people a very good vehicle to play with and do some R&D with that will no doubt hurt HSV to some extent.

With Boss-Edit now the LS1 has lost any advantage it had and as the results start leaking out as they are now the Ford will again Kick-ass.

It would seem that people are keeping quiet the EDIT results at this point and even though none have been posted I have heard some very very good results (scary even) but oh so good with no mods at all just edit. :spoton:

By the looks of it, the F6's Intercooler is worth about an extra 15-20rwkw over a stock intercooler

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That appears to be correct at of now though the APS package requires more testing on the Typhoon to ensure that the 300 RWkW's is able to be sustained in high load/high ambient conditions. :spoton:

The other 10 Million dollar question Peter... How did the clutch handle the 300rwkws?
