Met Craig Lowndes Today

As the title suggest I had the pleasure of meeting Craig Lowndes today. Hes a bloody top fella, taller than I imagined and he was very chatty to complete strangers. I Had a good chat to him about FPRs improved performance over the past few rounds, it was raining while we were chatting and he joked that he wished it had rained so the engine lasted, and his hopes for next year with 888. He did mention that he is only contracted to Ford for 2 more years so perhaps he might be jumping ship in 2007 if he doesnt perform for Ford. Attached a pic him in action signing autographs. 2 keen Ford fans even came equipped with engine covers off their BA GTs for him to sign.

Does seem like a top bloke. Him and Ambrose always come across well.

Poor old Craig though, he says the right thing and is always smiling but he must get so frustrated with his car sometimes. He looked really upset after his engine packing up during the last race but still kept a grin on for the fans.
