Thanks. Very impressive.

I'd like to see the boost curve, to assess if the extra torque sub 2500 revs is due to the cam timing change, or if it is genuinely bringing in boost earlier.

Given that the turbo is probably the same spec, and that the inlet plumbing appears to be the same as mk1, my bet is it's in the cam timing.

Given that torque, it should be great to drive, for those of us that like manuals.

Cam timing I suspect ... Very impressive and notice there is no point in reving it hard with its current setup and it drops the torque of quite fast past 4500RPM.

With some "edit" I'm sure this could be wound right out .

Bigger intercooler. One inlet each side, 1.8 metres less intercooler tubes, same turbo

The stock injectors are holding back the top end of the F6.

As for the 290, 400nm at 1000rpm is very impressive, too bad all the torque reduction strategies make it feel like it has about 200nm to protect the driveline.

Those FPV graphs are annoying, they are just made in excel. I want to see a REAL dyno graph. Because I know my Turbo's torque curve is quite different to what Ford shows it to be.

Geeseman, thanks for that. :nono:

There are stock auto T's with higher maximum rwkW than this manual F6! :spoton:

The tractive effort is far worse than an APS modded T! :o

As evidenced by other dyno charts, the Torque of an APS modded T starts higher, stays longer and would result in an even bigger real life "Whoosh factor" than the F6! :spit:

Congratulations Ford/FPV!...you have successfully achieved your objective of "dumbing down" the F6 so much that you may not lose an extra 3 GT/GT-P sales per month for the next financial year due to internal product cannibalisation! Darn shame you will lose more than 3 F6 sales per month because of how "dumbed down" the car is, not to mention the humiliation of being dropped out of Motor PCOTY due to clutch problems! :spit::spoton:
