with my job I have been asked this question many times but from now on I can just tell them to search it on the forums.

those guidelines are great and very well written.

By the general dyno day's we've had it seems that cars that are taken easy get a lot less kw's than cars that are driven hard.

I run mine in hard with a specific method. If you're interested do a search.

Drive it like you stole it,keep going through the rev range,if it's an auto,dont drive it in drive till 3000 k

Don't be afraid to stretch it's legs. Don't let it sit on the same RPM for too long (eg on the freeway don't just turn on the CC and cruise it - alter your revs. drop a few gears and let it rev).

If you baby the car, you will end up with a baby performer.
