All good.Expensive Daewoo has raised the bar.Possible 12's out of a factory vehicle under warranty.Brilliant.that's progress.

Yep, time for an overdue response from Ford.As you say Typhoon ,a GTHO minimum 330-350kw(s/charged) or a 300-320 kw turbo(Sprint?)is required capable of high 12's straight out of the box.

Big euro sedans Benz E55 etc.have been capable of this sort of performance for several years now and no-one talks about them in a supercar scare.

Ford can do it,but will they?

How much does one cost?

Probably talking about a car that few of us will ever own.

I would modify a turbo and you could probably do the same times and not spend the money. Some of the guys on this site has some very quick cars and have paid a lot less.

FPV do have to lift there profile a bit more in saying that. You just need to keep the pricing where more of the general public can afford to pay for them.

Tweek the GT a bit more. maybe. Factory super charger would be great.

I am guessing that Expensive Daewoo would be around the $100,000 mark?

I agree that HSV are totally irresponsible in providing a car with that performance. It's all very well to say that there are Benzs and BMs and exotic Europeans that offer it. But you simply cannot begin to compare the chassis dynamics of those cars to a HSV. I believe that the current crop of Aussie muscle cars, ie T6, GT, Clubbies etc are good for 300kw at the engine. Any more and I reckon you are starting to push towards the safe limits of the chassis. OK, I hear you all crying out that we already have modded examples on the forum that have over 300kw at the rears and aren't coming apart. YET, is my reply. I feel certain that after a couple hundred thou these cars will be VERY loose in the chassis and we may very well find stress fractures and dogknowswhat. Just my 1.82 cents worth.

Yeah from a business point of view I agree. Also I was expecting the car to be worth in excess of 100,000 so 80,000 isnt to bad I guess if you have got the cash :spit:

If I had $80k I'd be buying a T and dropping one of the nizpro 1000hp jobbies into it. It'd blow any Expensive Daewoo off the strip.

I dont have 80 either so dont bother thinking about what I would do.

By the time you buy the Turbo at say 40 and spend another 38 on that engine and get drive line etc done you will blow 80 easily :spit:
