This may be a silly question, but where are you guys getting the boost pick-up from?

Is there somewhere near the BOV or an the back of the maniflod to tap in, I havn't looked because up until friday mine was stock, now it isnt and I wouldnt mine putting a gauge in.

I too like the Fairmont clock style, neat and factory looking.

Thanks

Does anyone know if aftermarket gauges would fit in the ford cradle. That way you could have want ever gauges you want and still keep the factory apperance?

The faimont clock type modification is ok, but I would perfer 2 gauges oil pressure and boost.

It would be interesting to find out if Ford do sell the pod and how much it is. The Chiptorque/SS inductions on is about $100 painted, and will take most sized gauges.

On the topic of guages, I've seen this retard driving around with like 50000 billion guages (ok, 4) on his A pillar.... On the outside, completely invisible to the driver, on a civic.

Just thought I might add that completely irrelivant and random comment.

Good day to you....

I think the gauges are sh*t, they aren`t even numbered as stated in one to the reviews.Ford could have done a much better job. I will be getting Apexi`s or Blitz or maybe those new nexus  autometers once we have a price.

But hey if you like them go for it.

Hey stanger, thers hope for you yet,I actually agree with you, those gauges are atrocious along with the push button, what were ford thinking :spoton:

There are better after market gauges than the ford stockies

that's the way I see it folks

Talked to a dealer yesterday, $509 for the MkII GT gauges and the pod, said they need a VIN before any parts could be ordered + they said FPV are asking for the non-working gauges to be returned to them before the new ones would be sent out. Bugger knows how that would work?

$509 for gauges isn't bad when the FPV peddle covers where around $600.

I too would prefer the factory appearance of the fpv pod gauge holder so I can find suitable gauges.

So can anyone tell me where and how much for the pod gauge holder?

I had an idea for split gauges (2 in each). If you take the size of the ford fuel and temp gauges as a basis, they would look, imo, quite at home.

Question is; can you get split gauges? If so, where and Im there.

Regards,

Max
