Thanks geea.

Yes have read all the mod stuff with great interest but I have a novated lease set up so dont spose I'm allowed to mod "their" car.  Have others done so?

Have thought about just going APS Phase I but all the latest "edit" stuff has me second guessing.

I remember my first test drive in a manual T and I scared the sh#t out of myself doing a u turn.  Now I'm just used to it I guess.  The whoosh through 2nd and 3rd on a cold night still gets the blood pumping though!

Hi Soon2

I too am a newbie- haven't started my first thread yet, but I will. My 11/03 XR6T Blueprint manual is also under a novated lease and mods can be negotiated in my scenario.

Your employer pays for your car from your package, The finance company "owns" the car and are happy with mods as long as they are roadworthy and legal so if you crash they get their money (that's all they care about). Insurers are much the same, make sure your mods are "legal" and disclose them and you should be fine - Specialist insurers like Shannons and Just Car (same underwriter I think) should insure a modded T for about a $1000 if you're 30+ and category 1.

I love my T too. I decided to buy it within 5.9 seconds of my test drive!

Thought I better get round to posting a photo or two...

My T as wedding car for my brother in law...

That's a nice looking car. But in the photos it doesn't look anything like blueprint. Is it actually a different colour, or are the colours in the photo a bit off?

Yeah, the colour is a bit out (it is blueprint!). Blame the photographer I spose. One is at dusk though.

Nothing better than a clean blueprint glistening in the sun IMHO.
