Mine goes psssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh, thanks to turbosmart!!!!! normal one makes a worbling / fluttering sound but only at high revs. Why it was going pssshhhh before is strange

That is was my response to ford, if the flutter is normal than why for the last 30K has my car been making a pssht noise when changing gears.

Mmm id say the XR has electronic boost control via the MAP and wastegate etc. Boost should be maintained at 6.5psi?? thoughts? Although I connected a gauge behind the BOV and only measured 5.5 on a reasonably cold night. They can flash the pcm whenever they like and id say if they have a latest flash then they'd do it. As XXXR6T told me this is how they can detect the edit. ie you get the reflash and when your cars goes back the next time you have reloaded the old flash on.......ford goes mmmmm very suss!!!!! Though as wise steve also told me your gobble sound probably increased after the K&N and CAI. I just picked up a typhoon CAI last night and will put it on in the next week. I also put my BOV on Nang3's typhoon and the sound was not any louder.
