Yeah but how was the vision through the heat haze??

You can see it if you squint. Come over one day & see for yourself.

Can someone design a runoff pipe from the aircon airstream that feeds back into the air intake. I've seen it done on a F-150 Lightning but will be buggered if I can find the link.

I think Rob that you'd need to pioneer that one yourself. As the room, factor will be quite different to the F series, we did it to my ZJ when we installed the 460, though we had no one way valve which was interesting when she back fired on the odd occasion, cough cough.

I've been Stage 3 for about 6 months. Cooling is OK, it never gets over 1/2 as the fans kick in, however I do lose some coolant out of the tank. I've tried ruplacing the header tank and cap, and I had a faulty heater hose, but I still lose coolant when I drive hard.

Does anyone else experience this problem, or have a fix?

My guess is that 390KW on a hot day is just too much for the standard cooling system and it blows off a bit of steam through the tank/cap....

Goes like a rocket though!

Can't say I have lost any coolant on hot days but I dont hammer it when its real hot either. And yes, 390kw is a bit much for the standard cooling system.

Is your's stage 3 APS Jeff?

I have also fitted an oil and transmission cooler... wondering now if there is enough air getting past the intercooler etc to the radiator - but it doesn't overheat according to the gauge.

Hi all, Where does the temp needle sit on an average day when driving normaly. I thought the temp gauge on most newer cars sat on 1/2 after a few mins of running which is the normal running temp?

What do you's think?
