How are ppls modded APS T's coping performance wise in the heat..

The temp in SA last week was in the high 30's ..37-38 degrees

The T started everytime, idled normally ,Temp gauge sat in its normal place and there really wasn't any noticable performance loss.. :spoton:

Hi,

When cruising it sits on about 1/3 as it always has, in traffic it will climb close to half but never actually touches it, when driving hard the highest I have ever seen it was just under half and that's hard driving up long hilly roads.

Hi Frank,

How was the temp on the guage when driving? Were you taking it easy or driving hard?

No difference in performance with mine in the hot weather. But to be honest, I probably only gave it a bit during the night when the temperature was under 30 (28 according to the temperature display on Anzac Hwy :spoton: ).

Loss of power for me. It was 35 dgrees the other day, and I was on the road all day. I expecteed it anyway, and do not push my car in the heat.

I think the bigger intercooler would make a difference for me.

I went to Calder with Geea on the same night in his car. It was still 30 degrees at approx 8pm when he ran but yet he still mamanged a 12 sec pass. I think the main difference was the APS cooler he was running as alot of the other cars were struggling.

Phantom Express had no issues with the weather, even after giving it a couple squirts.

*Wink* at the Phase III intercooler :)

I was thinking guys, you think that an Oil cooler would help on days like sunday ??....Im thinking about buying one to add to my car
