351 Member 184 Member For: 20y 2m 17d Posted 04/12/04 03:07 AM Share Posted 04/12/04 03:07 AM I have never heard a vy at full stick but I have heard an sv8 now let me tell you it was possibly the weakest excuse for a ''tough'' car ever. it seemed to sound like a six until bout 4000rpm wen it started to put out its impersonation of a real v8 but it failes miserably , though I have some ls1 s with aftermarket exhaust and cam and they are pretty good ,but my car sounds so nice I always get compliments although my exhaust is not standard .but yes gt's are one of the toughest sounding v8's to come from a factory anywhere in the world ,even hsv has admiited to not having the knack of making cars sound as good as tickford/fpv Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
