How Come A Manual Typhoon Can't?

How come cant a manual phoon do a high 12sec 400m pass like the R34 GTR? the skyline has only 206kw 392nm weights 1540 and the phoon 270kw 550NM weight 1776kg, 235kg more I know but look at teh r34 its manial also and does a 12.7 from factory plz explain y ford dont give us what we want?

Yeah... In wheels this month there is a Stock R34GTR. And in small print is says the owner has seen 290rwkw on a chassis dyno. Now knowing there is a considerable (15-20%) loss in power through the all wheel drive train, I would estimate the true kw output at the flywheel to be around 330-340kw!!

Grasshopper, you must become familiar with the laws of marketing. No manufacturer will sell a 12.7 second car for less than $90,000, whether or not it actually costs that much to make it. Its all about price discrimination old chap. :spoton:

Remember that a GTR will launch in 4 wheel drive mode, giving it a clear advantage over the T.

Yes... ok it wasn't stock but I didn't see anything that would give it heaps more power. The 12K was the Harrop Brakes, other cash was spent on.

"Baffled Sump...oil cooler...front-end geometry benefits from a Nismo camber/caster kit...extra catalytic converters plus other stuff for ADR approval.

The engine was rebuilt, but remains stock. And it had a stock exhaust???

The thing is while ~330kw is high for a R34 GTR its not too far off what is rumored to be the output.
