I have been chasing it up with the dealership and also with Ford Australia(13FORD). It has bee a month now and I have still not got any answers. The dealership tried to tell me at first that the cluster did not exist. It has been frustrating me to no end as there is pictures in the brochures and now even on the ford website for the mark II.(see attached picture, on the left side.)I was wondering if anybody has the Lux interior pack and has the Blue instrument cluster, wether they could take a photo of it and PM me the picture as I want to hit them with as much info as possible. If I don't get an answer off Ford Australia by the end of this week I am going to be writing a complaint to the ACCC.CheersDamoford_website.bmp

Guest jteale Guests Posted 24/11/04 08:53 PM Share Posted 24/11/04 08:53 PM I have a Lux Pack and all the pictures you have shown are what I have and I believe what you have ... what is the problem?!?!Is it your sale rep from the dealer telling you different?? If so wouldn't expect much from them, their product knowledge is pretty limited ... alot of Lux pack drivers now and ms700 is 100% correct the only difference is with trip computer settings and the trip button ... standard on the dash, Lux pack is part of the ICC ... BTW the dash is Blue and their is only one Blue ... you can adjust the brightness ... but still blue ... if you got a different colour then they have stuffed up...Hope that clears things up ... Cheers, Jason.

My understanding of this was that the two lower lcd readouts would be different, as per the Fairmont. Is this not correct?
Guest boreded Guests Posted 24/11/04 09:32 PM Share Posted 24/11/04 09:32 PM I see 2 different photos here. The first one from the website screen capture has the Odometer LCD shown with a blue backlight display while the 2nd photo further down the thread shows a non blue backlight. I'm pretty sure mine looks like the 2nd one regardless of whether the dash is lit up or not. However it is still too early in the morning and the brain is about as useful right now as a "head mechanic" at your local ford dealer
