It was good to catch up with Craig,  Dean, JB, Robin and Justin from the forum.

Also had a good chat with Spiro (Autotechnique) Spiro (sydney) , Dave Innal(APS), Greg Brindley (Nizpro), Mal Wood (gearbox/clutch) , Rob (hpf) and others.

It's a shame my car wasn't ready for the show, due to delays in getting engine parts. It'll be the new Nizpro Stage 5 with the 1200+HP motor, extractors, Motec etc. Mal Wood has developed for me a new and stronger close ratio T-56 and new clutch to handle the huge torque.

Also it appears there are at least 4 other guys I know having big HP engines built independently just now. The show indicated that those supercharged c’doores have improved greatly in the last 6 months, now getting close to the 1000hp mark. The CAPA car with 940hp was awesome, and sounded more like a racecar than street car. Hopefully next year we can give them some decent competition.

I was a bit concerned that if I looked my best that 2 things might happen.

1) the gay element (not that theres anything wrong with that Steve) might find me irrisitable.

2) I would over shadow the girls and I wanted them to feel special. It was their day not mine.
