Nice to feel that I have someone on my side.FYI:My car is booked into another mechanic on Wednesday.I have rung the insurance company and they would like to see it ThursdayDepending on what happens from these two, the car will either get fixed under insurance (Only cost me $250 excess) OR both parties will help me fight Ford NZ over this. When I explained things to the insurance company they were as surprise as I was. They have never heard of anything like this before.I'll keep you all updated on the progress.ThanksChris

The car having a misshap during delivery seems like the only plausible explanation.
