Yeah planned on going back to a manual anyway,

Ive got a manual xr8 and carry about 300-400kg's everyday.

Pulls the load fine, plenty of pulling power :D

go the 8, sounds gr8 as well

Dad had a Manual '03' "T" for work, towed a 1300+Kg Trailor everyday, with about 200Kg in the back of the ute, No Problems, as said above the torque out of the "T" makes it pretty easy

Now he has an '04' FPV Pursuit, and this does it pretty easy aswell, to be honest I think that they are pretty evan, so test both see what you like and go for it.

You won't regret it either way

not quite true that statement the auto is rated at 1600kg towing and the manaul only 1200kg
