Guest Guests Posted 29/11/04 03:00 AM Share Posted 29/11/04 03:00 AM Let me tell you all a little story that pisses me right off....There was once a man with a nice XR6, me, whos rear brakes sounded like sh*t every where he went peoles would turn to see the car making all the noise. In Goulbourn for a family holiday for a week the dealer there said they'd have a look at the rear disks for the day and fix the problem if they can....Later that same day the normaly happy XR6 owner picked up his vehicle and as he did he noticed they dealer had machined the front brakes and done nothing about the hand brake problem at all. And to top off this monstrous f*ck up the dealer had contacted Ford and told them of the modifications made to this vehicle and Ford replyed saying to them "the vehicle is now on the warrenty BLACK LIST and not to touch the vehicle again, because Ford wont pay for any repairs to it"(thanks a bunch Ford, I wave the flag for you nice and high, and now all you want is to see is me, bleeding from the ass over my love of the blue oval, makes me want a WRX next time). After some quiet thought on the problem at hand, the now slightly dis-pleased XR6 owner gave a serving of sh*t to the staff at the dealship so ferocious the people of Goubourn Ford are still crying and holding their heads to this day. There wasn't one four letter word I held back and most were said at least twice. I took the car to a real workshop (back in Sydney , away from bum-f*ck country)where they told me the disks on the rear are worped and any first year could tell you that. Now please correct me if I'm wrong, should the rear disks on a $40000 car be worped after only 15000Km of country driving? Should I be be the one who pays for new disks?I think we all know the answer to that question 'NO'Brooky ford took the car and told me the problem was with the front brakes and they needed machining I asked the dimwit had anyone looked at the brakes at all as they'd just been machined the week before in Goulbourn (won't be going back there). f***n Hell, do any of these people know what a car is and how is ment to work?I tell you I don't care any more Ford wins, but I'll be going full after market brakes soon anyway. So Ford I hope Ambrose wins, but after this, go make love to your self, you'd be good at it by now you've been practicing f*cking everyone eles for long enough.Go Ambrose. Would have saved a lot of grief and ill-will if the flea in the service reception had admitted right from the start that I had a legitimate gripe. So my T will be back at JMcG's at least 1 more time. Dunno after that...........Ya got fight hard to get anywhere with this lot.

Guest TRACK Guests Posted 29/11/04 12:18 PM Share Posted 29/11/04 12:18 PM Wel done Cflat!! Sign write your car (before it goes back) and really stick it up them!! After they have fixed your car, change the wording and tell everybody how long it took Ford to fix your car. That's what my back window will say, if they ever sort the car out!My wife drove my car today, and as she went down the street I heard that distinct sqeak, sqeak, squeak coming from the back! Next time it goes back for repairs I guess they'll have something else to try and fix. They've already had a few goes at it!I think I'll go back and get my old Patrol (1999) I used to drive. It had 190,000km when I sold it, and literally all I had to do was put petrol in it. Better car than the T will ever be. Smoother engine, better gear box, smoother clutch and a quiet working handbrake!! Nobody wants/tries to race you, but they do get out of your way!! Took the bomb back to the dealers today as the bonnet release broke the other day and I can't open the bonnet, whilst its in for warranty repairs I asked them to adjust the handbrake again (even though it was stuffed 6 months ago) this time they want to bill me over a hundred bucks. Rang 13FORD and they said that adjustments are not covered by warranty and that I am lucky I only have to have it adjusted it once a year as most have it done more often that that, what a joke. The last 2 new cars I bought a Nissan and a Mitsubishi both lasted almost 3 years and 90,000ks before I traded them and neither needed the hand brake adjusted, even once.I recently got a quote for a new XR6T and a Territory, only thing I can see myself using them for now is to wipe my arse.
