I need to put the XP CD in the computer and let it boot up off this to fix me problem, but I so far cant tell it to boot from CD.????????????????????????????????Also every time I play with the farked one I have to disconnect this one and then jump back online again for advice. Paranormal Member 469 Member For: 21y 4m 15d Location: Brissy Posted 29/06/07 09:09 AM Share Posted 29/06/07 09:09 AM Some bios dont let you change the boot order until you include the device as bootable, you may have to select the cdrom then press the space bar or + key to make it active, you can then usually move it up or down the boot order, read the bios screen carefully. Else your pc may not be recognising your cd/dvd drive at all check the first general screen and make sure it lists a cd drive. Hope that helps. I cant believe it was that easy. Anyways I then booted from CD ROM disconnected the faulty hard drive and im back in business.
