Had lunch at a local pub yesterday, a mate who'd seen me on the road came over & told me of a lady client who's just taken delivery of an Acid Rush & is tickled pink. Afterwards I was of to see a client when I spotted this lady out obviously just going for a whirl in her rush.

Anyway, 2 x A2 Black 150 GSM paper sheets taped together to form a rather long rectangle. Have just the "FordXR6Turbo.com" logo running the length of the board, painted with a Silver Nico. The paper sheets will be glued to a wooden backing, all we need is a crate, bucket, few bricks, whatever to hold the damn thing up in place. Although I'm toying with the idea of a couple of hinged legs....lol. Nahh, too much work.Good enuf I say!!!Camera loaded, few rolls of film. All set.Catcha's Sunday.Oh yeah, Goose, Turbo6, have another party coming along, yep, it's another phantom BA XR6 N/A. The sister car to ours...lol. Black and Silver Personalized plates. Not members of this forum but they would thoroughly enjoy themselves. Nice couple. Liz and Paul.

A bit confusing when my wife and the other lady are both blonde.... waved to the wrong person !!!!! Ours doesnt have a mobile phone aerial on the back window.Lately I have also seen a stock acid rush getting around here too. Funny but I think the lighter colours are more popular up here in Qld.I havent seen the blueprint sedan, but I have seen a ute being given some stick around the place. See ya around the traps ! You are not burnt to a crisp Goose? I'm a bit red.Thank you for all that attended. Was good to match nics with faces.3 Phantoms.1 Citric Acid.1 Blueprint.1 Acid Rush.1 Silhouette. All cars were very, very nice indeed. Should get a few good shots out of 'em. Expect turbo6 and who ever else that had a digital camera to post first. :D Will post as soon as I can get them developed. Nahh everything is 'digital nowdays isn't it??? hmmm....I think so. Prints are not what they once were, I think you can make out the dots if you look close enough. I'll get a CD burnt from the negatives. Pitty most of you had to take off. Goose and myself went to a couple of other locations very close by to take some more pics, put the makeshift "FordXR6Turbo.com" sign to good work. Can't wait to see them....lol. Turbo6, you missed out on your nice cricket oval, lovely SOFT grass, no stones....tehehe. Oh yeah. Goose/Turbo6, that one of us 3 standing in "Turbo6's" Citric XR6T ute tray holding the sign up should be quite a cackle. You have to post it. B) Once again. Thanks.Pics soon.EDp.s.Oh yeah, Goose and I were talking about a BBQ, anyone up for it? Then we can go back to the place where Goose and I took some final pics at night when the Oil Refinery is lit up. It looks awesome. Think these shots will be the best ones I have taken for the day. We have to do this again to capture one hell of an incredible backdrop along with the foreground beauties showing their full glory. Lights from 2 cars can provide additional light, take it in turns. And the best part, no gravel, just nice soft grass. We should organize a date., well in advance for the other guys with commitments/families...etc.

What did I do to deserve so much bad luck. Now I have the cost of a windscreen as the 'bullseye' is in the drivers view area so nobody will repair the damn thing. It's already starting to increase in size. The only roll that turned out was the roll I shot with Goose's camera. Only problem with that, it's just our Phantom and Goose's Blueprint. They look great apparently (OH Yay), Jodie's sending a few to me so I'll post one or two. Here's hoping that you guys captured some good shots and if at all possible, can I have some pleeeeeaaaaasssseeeee. :tears: :tears: I am looking for a digital camera starting from NOW!!! EBay here I come. So sick to death of film screwups. First of all all the delivery shots were destroyed with my old camera that has since been turfed. The one shot that I cared about was of the odometer reading only "15".THEN THIS....................................ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! :angryfire:Hope the rest of you got great results as I've turned up with nothing. Add the added cost of a windscreen. Not to mention a trip to the Northside, way north to pick this POS camera up that yielded a big fat '0'.This doesn't dampen my spirits though. <who is this crazy person> .I'm still keen to do it again. The location that Goose and I were at last, Oil refinery as the backdrop. Nice grass field to park on. BBQ before hand. It shall be done. I will not be defeated this easily. The next event will get the: We will make sure it does.

Guest bat Guests Posted 31/03/03 04:26 AM Share Posted 31/03/03 04:26 AM Those colours just go together! .. if you get another chance - sure you will! - try some pics taken from ground level looking up. It'll give the cars more impact from low down, & with the stacks rising in the backround into the sky - would look awesome. Just my thoughts.Hope the rest of your pics turn out, can't wait to see them! Might we see a new Ford XR6Turbo.com.banner pic!?!
